It's absolutely free and you don't have to share any portion of your parts sales. |
| | What if I don't know the part number of the part I'm looking for?
Click on search and that will take you to the advanced search where you can search by keyword, make, or city. |
| | Do I have to have a part number to list a part?
Yes, but if you don't know the number just enter a zero or X since you must enter something in the parts number field when adding a part. Part numbers will identify the part clearly, but if your description is very complete it will make it easier to find the part. |
| | How do I buy the part listed on the site?
Click on the seller information link and contact the seller to arrange payment and delivery. |
| | Can I make changes to my account?
Yes, when you are logged in, you can click on my account in the upper right corner of the web page. |
| | How do I look up the right part number?
Our resources page has links to manufacturer parts catalogs and wholesale parts resellers. If you call the dealer parts department they should be able to provide you with a part number or a diagram to identify your part. Remember the search can also look for key words in the description. |
| | How many parts can I list?
Right now its unlimited so feel free to list as many parts as you'd like. |
| | What if I forgot my login information?
Click here to retrieve your password. Or just email info@mypartslist.com and we'll look up and send you the information. You can also try to retrieve your welcome email from My Parts List which will contain your login information. |
| | How do I edit a part?
While logged in, click on add a part tab and scroll down to see all the parts you've listed. If there are too many you can use the search to find the one you need and click in the edit box. This will display the part details above so you can make changes. Be sure to click submit after you are done. |
